Flourish

Designed and tailored at Massey University at 300 level, the Flourish Blazer and Skirt set responds to the brief of creating a structured tailored garment. Including refined patternmaking and construction methods such as a scalloped leaf edge shawl collar, working jett pockets, and fitted ¾ sleeves with working half-vent details.

Made from 100% recycled polyester woven fabric (outer shell), and 100% cotton lawn fabric (lining), Flourish is designed sustainably for both the environment and it’s quality. The set showcases high quality tailoring elements, with an all-in one stand within the shawl collar, fully lined garments, and most importantly, a silhouette and fit tailored perfectly to the fit model. 

The name 'Flourish' behind the set is inspired by these sustainable attributes, where both the wearer and the environment can flourish confidently when wearing these garments.
